Good morning contrarians!
Stock futures are up a bit as of 0640. Tech stocks are leading things, with the Nasdaq up about 0.3%. S&P 500 and Dow Industrials are up about 0.1%.
Today is all about earnings as there are no major economic data releases to speak of. Investors will also want to watch details of the latest hacking campaign by the same Russian actors who targeted SolarWinds.
In fact it’s mostly about the earnings of one company, Facebook (FB) out after the close of trading at 1600. A bunch of other companies are also due to report today, but these are mostly small potatoes (unless you happen to own them, of course).
